We believe you will find the Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS) easy to use. PharmCAS responds to the demands of individuals looking for a more efficient way to apply to pharmacy colleges by providing a single online application. This format is more convenient for the applicant, the participating schools and their national association, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).

You may log onto your PharmCAS application to edit your data as often as you wish until you submit your final application to PharmCAS. Save your application frequently to protect against lost data. Click here for your copy of the PharmCAS Application Instructions (PDF).

PharmCAS is for first-year professional pharmacy degree applicants only. High school students, BS of Pharmacy degree graduates, and current pharmacy students who wish to transfer to another pharmacy degree program should contact institutions directly for instructions. Not all pharmacy colleges and schools participate in the PharmCAS program. For a list of institutions, check the Directory section for participating and non-participating schools.

Applicants who apply through PharmCAS must:

• Submit a complete web application;

• Arrange for PharmCAS to receive an official transcript from all accredited US and English-speaking Canadian institutions attended by the deadline, and make sure that a copy of the PharmCAS Transcript Request Form is attached to each transcript;

• Send letters of reference, foreign transcript evaluation reports, and test scores (PCAT, TOEFL, and TSE) scores to PharmCAS by the application deadline, if required by your designated pharmacy schools; and

•Submit the correct PharmCAS application fee by the deadline, with the PharmCAS Payment Form (PDF) attached.

Your designated pharmacy schools may require additional fees and/or application materials, including supplemental applications and letters of recommendation. Failure to submit all required materials as instructed may jeopardize your eligibility for admission consideration.

APPLY EARLY!

Participating PharmCAS programs encourage applicants to submit applications at least two weeks before their institutional deadline to avoid Web congestion due to heavy applicant and Internet traffic. Submitting your materials early will insure timely processing, help avoid delays, and may improve your chances for admission to those pharmacy institutions that use a rolling admissions process. PharmCAS is not responsible for any materials lost in the mail or for delays caused by the registrar's office. Express or certified mail does not guarantee expedient processing, nor does sending transcripts express or certified guarantee receipt by PharmCAS.
