-
PharmCAS is a simple, efficient process to apply to multiple
colleges and schools of pharmacy using a single Web-based
application.
-
Facilitating multiple applications to pharmacy schools
and colleges broadens the applicants “reach” as
they are considered by several institutions. Increases likelihood
that qualified applicants will enroll in a pharmacy degree
program.
-
Reduces or eliminates duplicate application data and transcripts.
-
Ability to view PharmCAS calculated GPAs after submission
of the application.
-
On-screen checklist and instructions will help applicants
navigate the Web-based application.
-
No application restrictions on the number of extracurricular,
work, volunteer, and research experiences that may be listed.
-
Ability to download and print an application worksheet
to help complete the on-line form.
-
Online “help” and validation rules included
in the Web-application will reduce unintended application
errors and omissions.
-
Applicants can close and reopen their application at any
time, and take as many sessions as necessary to complete
it.
-
Applicants have access their personal Web application
data from ANY computer with Internet access and standard
browser—minimally, Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher (preferred)
or Netscape 6.0 or higher—regardless of what computer they
used to begin the application.
-
Ability to print personal application copy before and
after final transmittal to PharmCAS.
-
Ability to check status of an application through Web-based
status check, email, or by calling the PharmCAS customer
support team.
-

application materials.
-
There is no limit to number of times applicants can access
their personal application data before final submission
to PharmCAS. Applicants may update selected contact and
course data fields after submission.
-
Submission of credit card application fees on-line, over
a secure Web site using a real-time payment system (such
as VeriSign), eases the application process.
-
Money orders are also accepted by
PharmCAS via the mail.
-
Multiple PCAT test scores can be reported to colleges
and schools.
-
Easy access for interested applicants to information on
pharmacy degree programs.
When all required documentation is received by PharmCAS
staff, the service will verify the accuracy of the information
and calculate standardized GPAs. PharmCAS will then immediately

pharmacy schools and colleges selected. Applicants will
be able to verify the status of their application on-line.
