Students who have completed or anticipate a U.S. Bachelor’s degree are exempt from GE requirements IC, IIB, and IIC.  Students with a degree are NOT exempt from the liberal arts requirement.  Liberal Art units are all non-math/science courses and include your English, psychology, economics, and public speaking courses.

Refresher Requirement:  Students who have not enrolled in biology or organic chemistry within the last seven years are required to enroll in one year of each as a refresher in these areas.

Supplemental application
November 3, 2008 The UOP Supplemental Application will be available on the website below by June, 2007.
Students must download from the University of the Pacific Website at http://www.pacific.edu/pharmd
and send directly to Pacific, postmarked no later than November 1st.

A limited number of paper copies are available and may be requested by emailing: admission@pacific.ed
The supplemental application should be filed concurrently with your PharmCAS application.

Students using international work to fulfill pre-requisites must order a Catalog-Match-Evaluation.  Students not using international work to fulfill pre-requisites may order a Course-By-Course evaluation.

Pacific also requires all official transcripts and translations of international course work be sent directly to the Office of Admission.

October through March Interviews at the University of the Pacific typically take place on Friday afternoons and students should plan be available from 12:00 - 4:30 p.m.  Students will interview with one faculty member and one currently enrolled PharmD student.  A writing sample is required as part of the interview and a tour of our facilities will be provided.

Proud to be a premier California school for pharmacy and health sciences, The Thomas J. Long School was founded in 1955 and offers professional and graduate degrees in pharmacy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology.
