Other clarifying information: Intellectual Heritage I & II are unique interdisciplinary courses that are part of the USciences curriculum.  A sequence of courses designed to achieve a balance between specialized study and exposure to a diversity of ideas, perspectives and modes of thinking.  Year three transfer students most often satisfy this requirement through courses in the take courses in the humanities, social sciences, fine arts, moral reasoning/philosophy or historical studies.

† USciences Functional Human Anatomy/Histology requirement may be fulfilled by completing a one semester Human Anatomy course, a one semester comprehensive combined Anatomy & Physiology course (covering the entire body) or Anatomy & Physiology I & II in a two semester sequence.  Both Anatomy & Physiology I & II are needed in an A & P sequence course in order to complete the required “head to toe” material. A & P course for pre-med students is preferred and must have a Biology pre-requisite.

* For Fall 2011, candidates admitted for transfer to the 1st year are subject to the Writing and Rhetoric I and II requirement. Candidates admitted for transfer to the 2nd or 3rd year are subject to the College Composition and Intro to Literature requirement. Credits accepted for transfer for Writing and Rhetoric I and II, College Composition and Intro to Literature are subject to confirmation by the USciences Humanities Department.

Selected applicants will be asked to attend an interview day which will consist of a pharmacy department information session followed by two one-half hour interviews with faculty members. After the faculty interviews, applicants will tour campus and enjoy lunch with current pharmacy students.
