Accepted Candidates
• Dates during which interviews are generally held:
November, January – March
• Describe your institution's interview process. Limit 100 words. Please add a link for more detailed descriptions:
Applicants will be selected to visit campus for an interview – selection will be based upon the student’s academic performance, written communication skills, letters of recommendation, volunteerism, leadership, and professional exploration. Admission is competitive and selection for an interview does not guarantee admission. The PCSP admissions interview is a structured interview process that is designed to assess core competencies that are difficult to measure via an application alone.  These competencies are:  commitment to the pharmacy profession, communication skills, empathy, ethical and moral reasoning, interpersonal skills, and motivation.  Students are responsible for arranging accommodations and travel to Clinton, SC for the interview process. Interviews will be conducted from 8:30–12:00 and 1:30–5:00.  During your visit, you will interview with a two-person panel (composed of faculty members and healthcare practitioners).   You will also complete a computerized critical thinking skills assessment and receive a tour of the campus.  Time will be allotted for photographs and review of your application and Q&A with Office of Professional and Student Affairs staff.
