Authorization of a comprehensive evaluation for consideration of Precandidate status does not carry with it nor imply an accreditation status. The evaluation is authorized solely for purposes of gathering additional information in furtherance of an accreditation decision. Program Description California Health Sciences University (CHSU) offers a three-year, accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program that prepares students to be highly trained, collaborative, and compassionate pharmacists. Every component of the program is designed to be student-centric, including the expanded offering of experiential education rotation sites. Led by Dr. Mark Okamoto, a successful and experienced Dean who has assisted in the development of 3 new PharmD programs, this rigorous new program is sharply focused on student success and quality. Examples include: balanced course sequencing, helping students to more effectively manage course content, progression milestones ensuring student comprehension through all phases of the curriculum and preparing students for on-time graduation The program also includes, focused, high-touch student support throughout, leading to first time passing of licensure exams.
