    Interviews are held at William Carey University School of Pharmacy in Biloxi, MS. *Applicants attend Interview Day from 10:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The major focus of the interview is to assess communication skills.  The interview format also allows attributes related to critical thinking, problem solving, calculations, empathy, and goal setting to be assessed. The day consists of informational sessions, a luncheon with current students, individual and group interviews with faculty, and math and writing assessments. Applicants interact with faculty and current students, learn about the Program, review transcripts for completeness, and ask questions.

It is preferred to have one letter from a math or science professor who has taught the applicant in a college-level science course, and the other one is preferred to be from a pharmacy or health care professional.  Other sources may be from someone who can attest to the character of the applicant and the motivation, drive, and determination to successfully complete a rigorous pharmacy program. In addition to the checklist evaluation provided by PharmCAS, both letters of recommendation must provide a written reference by the evaluator attesting to the character and motivation of the student and uploaded to the PharmCAS site.
