If Other, please briefly describe: Temple offers two pathways to the PharmD degree. The Six-Year Early Assurance/Direct Admit Program includes two years of pre-pharmacy coursework at Temple University followed by the four-year PharmD curriculum.
The traditional Professional Entry Pathway is for students who have completed the required prerequisite courses through at least two years of college study (many applicants have three years of coursework or a bachelor's degree) before entering the four-year PharmD program.

Program Description The Temple University School of Pharmacy's (TUSP) Early Assurance Program provides highly motivated high school students with a direct pathway to earning their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Through this 2+4 program, students complete two years of prerequisite coursework in Temple University's Pharmaceutical Sciences/Pre-Pharmacy program on the Main Campus before transitioning into the four-year PharmD curriculum at TUSP.
Students who successfully meet all academic and progression requirements during the two-year Pre-Pharmacy program secure a seat in the first professional year of the PharmD program. Throughout their undergraduate experience, students receive personalized advising and have opportunities to engage with pharmacy faculty, current PharmD students, and the profession through a variety of academic and professional development activities.
Temple University School of Pharmacy (TUSP) is located on Temple University’s Health Sciences Center campus in Philadelphia, alongside the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, Kornberg School of Dentistry, Temple University Hospital, and affiliated healthcare facilities.
