Letter grades are preferred for Science and Math prerequisites. Pass grades must be considered equivalent to C or better letter grades from issuing college/university in order to be acceptable towards prerequisites.
- All prerequisites must be completed with grades of C or better.

- Science prerequisites must be fulfilled by courses intended for science majors or pre-health/pre-pharmacy track students.

- Biology I and II prerequisites can be fulfilled by courses with labs in genetics, cellular biology, molecular biology, developmental biology, botany, or zoology.

- Humanities electives may be chosen from one or more of these areas: art, foreign language, history, literature, music, philosophy, religion or theatre.

On-campus interviews are extended to qualified applicants on a rolling basis until the class is filled. The process features one-on-one and group interactions with Mercer's College of Pharmacy faculty, staff, and students, allowing candidates to evaluate if the program is the right fit for them. Concurrently, the interview results in a comprehensive evaluation of each applicant's academic preparation, communication skills, professionalism, and leadership potential.
