Program Description:
Touro College of Pharmacy (TCOP), the only 4-year PharmD program in the NYC borough of Manhattan, is home to a large number of health care facilities, community organizations & rich in cultural diversity, offering an abundance of opportunities for career development. While we moved to Three Times Square, the 'crossroads of the world', in June of 2023, we will continue to support the Harlem community and expand this support to all of NYC and beyond.

Our unique educational experience emphasizes hands-on learning, extensive practice experience & service to the community. 

Our exceptional, 2.5+1.5 curriculum sets it apart, providing students 9 rotations, placing us amongst the few programs with the most experiential education. We are focused on cultural awareness & community outreach, offer small classes & many opportunities to work closely with skilled faculty & network with a variety of health care providers.

Biology, Chemistry. Organic Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology and Physics must include a laboratory. Additionally, we require Biochemistry, Calculus, Economics (or approved substitutes), English Composition, Oral Communication (a course where you delivered multiple presentations) , Humanities and Social/Behavioral Sciences coursework. While we do not require a bachelor's degree, it is preferred. We do require you to complete a minimum of 67 pre-pharmacy undergraduate credits and meet the pre-professional coursework. Briefly describe your institution's interview process::
Touro College of Pharmacy will notify candidates selected for an interview via e-mail. The interview day will include interviews with faculty, group and individual sessions, a meet and greet with current students and, when in-person, will include a campus tour, a light breakfast and full lunch. The interview day will last approximately five hours. Not all applicants will be selected for an interview.  Online interviews are available for individuals who are located more than 200 miles away and unable to travel to the campus.  Other than the tour (and food) the online interview days parallel the in person interview days.
