credit_hour_policies: 'Each qualified applicant in PharmCAS is reviewed for completion of foundational math and science prerequisites at the appropriate level allowing for slight modifications in the number of credit hours as appropriate. Students entering Butler''s PharmD Program without a previous Bachelors degree, must also complete our Core Curriculum. Those students will also be evaluated to ensure they can reasonably complete both the PharmD and Core Curriculum requirements for on-time graduation.'
crit_gpa_info: 'While preference is given to students with the stated high level of academic performance, we believe in looking at students holistically in our admission process reviewing each applicant individually. There is more to preparing tomorrow''s healthcare leaders both locally and globally than can sometimes be predicted by prerequisite or cumulative GPAs. Every suitable candidate, regardless of background, merits an individual review by faculty, many of whom maintain active practice sites and understand what patient''s need in a provider first-hand. Therefore, we also look for positive academic trends in a student''s record as a way to be assured that admitted students can be successful in our program. '
