Program Description The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program at Texas Southern University's Joan M. Lafleur College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (COPHS) is a comprehensive and dynamic professional degree program designed to prepare students for a successful career in pharmacy. Situated in the heart of Houston and just steps away from the world renowned Texas Medical Center (TMC), Texas Southern offers a top-tier program.

Emphasizing both academic excellence and practical experience, the program offers a rigorous curriculum that integrates biomedical, pharmaceutical, social, and clinical sciences. Students benefit from state-of-the-art facilities, experienced faculty, and diverse clinical practice opportunities.

For the last several years our graduates have topped the list for NAPLEX licensure passage rates in the state of Texas and is currently first among HBCU pharmacy schools.
