The College of Pharmacy and College of Business at Idaho State University offer a joint PharmD/MBA program for students interested in earning both degrees. Students complete the traditional PharmD and MBA degree programs with some courses from each program counting towards degree requirements of the other program. Plans of study will differ from student to student; however, it is possible for students to complete the MBA degree by the time they complete their PharmD degree.

If you wish to be one of our students, you must complete all pre-pharmacy requirements, except for biochemistry, by the end of the spring term of the year you apply. Biochemistry may be completed in the early summer session prior to beginning the PharmD curriculum.

In addition to the prepharmacy prerequisites, Idaho State Univeristy requires students who do not possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited US institution to complete a set of General Education Objectives. We encourage completion of an Associate of Arts or Science prior to matriculation. Transferring without a previous degree may result in the need to complete deficient ISU General Education requirements during PharmD studies.
