Program Description:
The UConn School of Pharmacy is the #1 School of Pharmacy in New England*, 26th nationwide* and among the top 20% of US pharmacy schools. Exceptional faculty, engaging academic exploration, groundbreaking research, and impactful community involvement are hallmarks of a pharmacy education at UConn. Our professional program, accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), leads to a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Biology, chemistry, and physics courses must be foundational science courses for designed for science majors and include a laboratory component. Anatomy and physiology, organic chemistry, and microbiology must be advanced courses and have foundational biology and chemistry as prerequisites. Biochemistry must have organic chemistry as a prerequisite. All science courses except organic chemistry require a lab. 

All prerequisite courses taken at UConn must be a C- or higher. All prerequisite courses taken at all other institutions must be a C or higher. UConn Transfer Admissions will only award credit for coursework where applicants have earned a C or better.

All completed on-time applications will be considered on a holistic, competitive basis. Candidates will be granted an interview based on their entire application; however, attention is paid to an applicant's academic record, personal statement and experiences, answers to custom questions, and letters of recommendation.
