Program Description The West Coast University School of Pharmacy offers a hybrid Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program, blending in-person and online learning experiences that can be completed in less than three years. Our hybrid program strives to help prepare graduates for the opportunities and challenges of contemporary pharmacy practice. Our interactive-learning environment emphasizes interprofessional clinical experiences with students from other health professions, extensive use of innovative technology, and a multitude of community engagement and outreach activities.

Briefly describe your institution's interview process: The interview offers an opportunity for faculty and candidates to connect and learn more about each other. During the interview, time will be dedicated to assessing the candidate’s communication and critical thinking skills and for the candidates to ask questions about the Doctor of Pharmacy program. On interview day, candidates will be invited to a Welcome Session that includes a Curriculum Overview with Q & A; Meet the Dean with Q & A; and Student led Q &A, and a faculty-panel virtual interview. Following the interview, candidates will complete a contemporaneous essay.

The seat deposit will be credited to your program costs. The University will retain a maximum of $175.00 of this deposit should you cancel your enrollment within seven calendar days (excluding holidays) of enrollment or by the seventh calendar day of the first term, whichever is later. The seat deposit is fully refundable if you are not admitted as a result of your background check.
