AP/IB coursework will be accepted if itemized on verified PharmCAS transcripts, otherwise official scores must sent directly to CU Pharmacy.

All prerequisites must be completed at an accredited institution with grades of C or better. A Prerequisite Waiver is available and requires course information/description/syllabus/documentation and will be required for each course submitted for review. This form is also available for calculus or science prerequisites that are greater than 10 years old.

If you are offered admission to CU Pharmacy, you are responsible for successfully completing prerequisites by the spring. A Summer Extension Waiver is available for a minimal amount of credits and requires prior approval.

As of April 2020, the University of Colorado will also accept prerequisite coursework with a Pass grade taken in the spring and summer of 2020.

Candidates are strongly encouraged to attend an onsite interview day (pending availability) that also includes an overview of the program by the Dean of Students, lunch and tour with student ambassadors, and presentations from faculty and the Office of Experiential Programs.
