          Biology, chemistry, and physics courses must be foundational science courses for designed for science majors and include a laboratory component. Anatomy and physiology, organic chemistry, and microbiology must be advanced courses and have foundational biology and chemistry as prerequisites. Biochemistry must have organic chemistry as a prerequisite. All science courses except organic chemistry require a lab.

          Two letters of recommendation are required. One letter must be from teaching staff from a higher education institution. This can be a professor, lab instructor, or teaching assistant. It is recommended that the second letter be from a professional, such as employer or supervisor; additionally, both letters are recommended to be from individuals that can speak to an applicant's recent work, experiences, and qualifications as a college student. Letters of recommendation from high school teachers, family friends, family members, and non-supervisory coworkers will not be considered.           There is no supplemental deposit required for students by the School of Pharmacy.
